Hugh and Gillian were running a small printing business, when due to the recession in 1990 it became evident they needed to supplement their income further. It was then that they came up with the idea of publishing a monthly magazine featuring local pubs and hotels. Hugh drew up a dummy layout of said magazine and showed it to all the local publicans and within two weeks had sufficient support to publish the first issue in November 1990. We took over Pub and Club News in June 2006 and are currently distributing 4,700+ magazines every month. This website is now getting 1,800+ Visits per month.
